Uncle Jon Update

Just wanted to let everyone know Uncle Jon is home and doing well today.

Medical News on Uncle Jonathan

Uncle Jonathan had to go to the hospital today to have a heart cathorization. I believe they found out yesterday that this needed to be done. Audrey just send a message updating that he's out and doing fine. They have given him some meds and will be keeping him overnight for observation. He had an 80% blockage and got a stint put in. He also has a 40% blockage but they aren't going to mess with that right now. Audrey said they will be sending him home with a few lifestyle changes so keep Uncle Jon in your prayers for a quick recovery.
Also a little prayer for these changes. We all like our lives just the way they are and it's never fun to have doctors coming in messing with us. haha

Danielle wasn't able to make it to the reunion this year because they are currently living in Las Vegas, NV and have their hands full with 4 little ones. She does somehow find the time to keep up with her own blog, allowing us all to see a little about their life and what they are up to from week to week.

I would've said her husband Sean is in the military but she more correctly says 'they' are in the military. As every family member of someone in the military knows the whole family is in the military. haha Their ultimate goal is to one day retire to the Red Gate Farm (somewhere up north).

We had our 2009 reunion in Tallahassee, FL. We met on Saturday, October 2 at Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch. I think we took over the restaurant for a couple hours. I know there were many other people there but I honestly was hardly aware of them. We had a wonderful time catching up and having lunch.

Then those who had time went to The Fun Station for a while. We were able to get in one round of go carts before the rain came in. It was actually pretty fun to drive on a bit of a slick track. Once we were stuck inside during the rain we all decided to play some laser tag. It was the first time I had played laser tag but it was quite fun. I improved from the first to second round but it didn't really compare to the skills of Peggy, Scot, Uncle Joe or Benjamin. I'm not sure what mama's score was as she was more interested in blinding us with the camera than actually playing.

Overall it was a quick but fun day with the family. I look forward to the next get together and I hope everyone will be able to join us.
